Welcome to our Forums Gun Pic Gallery - Let's get Nasty!

I'm starting this new Picture Gallery for the Forums off with a picture of my own. This is my personall carry gun for concealed carry. My wife once made the comment that we didn't have any blue guns to show for display. I had recently picked up the little Taurus PT-145 and thought "what the heck?", so I made it blue. My wife later told me that she didn't think I was going to do it to my own personal gun. Oh well.... I like blue.
I went with  Royal Blue on the frame and put "Blue Anodized" on most of the controls. The silver slide works well with the blue and I like it a lot. The funny thing is.... I'm already thinking of doing something new to the gun!
This Taurus .45acp is the perfect concealed carry gun for me. It's small, it's light and it holds 11 rounds of big, fat .45!

Star Firestar Plus

I guess this is the perfect place to show off your personal carry gun. I know I have posted this in another area of the forums but I can never get enough of this little beauty. She carries perfectly in a modified Uncle Mikes OWB holster and with the extra 4 magazine pouch, gives me 66 fast rounds of Federal 115 grain Jacketed Hollow point ammo. If I can't get my rear out of the frying pan with this, then I should not have been near the fire to begin with.

Take care,
Tye

This is a little something I ran across one day after I had finished a shooting session at my favorite outdoor range, Clark Bros. Gun Shop and Range. I have been doing a little research on this and have not found much other then that not many were made. The extra slide and barrel in .357 SIG was an addition I created and had fitted. It shoots fantastic in all calibers. This one is very special to me and I hope you like.

John...

I guess your right. Seeing all this does make you want to "pump" a few rounds off. You just have to watch your loads and make sure you don't miss your mark.

More "Gun Porn" to come.

John- i so cannot believe you put that up!! and of course i checked it early this morning when i first woke up and was having a glass of juice, needless to say, had to wipe off the computer screen!! And to the readers, ive seen that gun first hand, and up close its a thing of beauty. that picture does it no justice at all.

I'm sorry Kevin about that whole juice and the screen thing, but my shame and sense of humore know no bounds and I will go for the jugular always. If we can't laugh at ouselves....who can we laugh at? After you took the picture, I viewed it and thought.....Wow! I like this picture....it'll come in handy! I thought it was funny! Yes I look like a crazed inbred redkneck psychopath that like to sharpen his axe while stepping in peanut butter while clucking like a chicken, but I thought it was a good look for me.Working on guns all day? Sure! No, no stress at all!

Put horns on the guy in that picture and I think you would really have something.

John...

It looks like you have your own source of Gun Porn. I do like the looks of both of those AK's. Believe it or not but I have never owned an AK. I have had just about every other type of weapon but never an AK. That just does not seem right. Maybe in time i will have to remedy that situation.

Will need to get things arranged with my camera so that I can take the pictures I need. It seems that in taking the other pictures I took I ran my batteries down. They are being charged now. All in good time.

You go right ahead and do that. Since you decided to hold on to the XD and want to wave it in my face (I know you are still going to let me shoot it........hahahaaaaaaaaa) I decided to buy a new gun. I bought something BIG. Big and UGLY I should say. Well.... it's BLACK and tactical and looks like it could stop a freight train. When I saw it I knew I had to have it. I picked it up while we working the Gonzales gun show. I picked it up for a VERY LOW price. They had two of them and when I went to get the other one (I had picked out the better of the two when I got mine) they had more than doubled the price. I asked "what the hell, man?" They told me that they had found out that they were worth much more. I'm glad I got the better one when I did.
Oh..... you want to know what kind of gun I bought..... I ain't saying..... not yet anyway!
My helper Kevin and I went shooting today. Yep, the power went out at the shop (almost the whole city of Kenner) so we packed up the old On Target Mobile and went to the outdoor range in St. Bernard. I had to test this new BEAST of mine out and it did not disappoint! Kevin (my helper/nephew for those who didn't know) said "That thing is the loudest gun I ever heard" he also complained of the shockwave that was hitting his body while I shot. And NO I was not shooting a fifty cal.! He was afraid to shoot it.....hahahahaaaa!
He says that he'll shoot it the next time we go out. We took some pics and videos. I'll show you all the newest On Target project gun soon enough. I want to start doing build ups in the forums with step by step write ups and pics for each gun. Plus we are going to have the videos we shot today put up in the extras section.
Oh yeah........ Mr. Kevin Davis...... If you are not nice and continue waving the XD in my face, I'll have to wave my new baby in yours. But, I can't wait for you to see it when it's finished and let ya' shoot it. I'll be picking up all of my accessories and parts for it this weekend coming at the Kenner gun show. I'll have my new baby there and I'll let you hold and play with it in person.

John...

It seems that everyone get to have fun but me. There you go and get a new gun and let others shoot it and I am not even invited. Shame... Shame... Shame... It's hell living so far away and hearing about these new toys and I can't even see pictures.

Heck... I'm still waiting to see the pictures of your customers Arminius .22Lr that you were working on and you said you would post pictures so I could see it. I have a soft spot in my heart for the Arminius as I own one. A beautiful little lady with the brand of Model HW-5T. I used her to shoot a 1.30 inch group that won me top honors over in the Bryco, Jennings and Jimenez Arms forum. They hold a yearly postal match and this year it was my turn to win. Not only that but Arminius is still making guns under the E.A.A label.

This is another inexpensive type that would be called a Saturday Night Special because of the cost and the fact that the calibers .22, 32 and .38 special have a Zamak frame. They even make an E.A.A. in .357 mag but due to the caliber has a steel frame. John...This is another gun you might want to look into. Even though they are not the most expensive revolver but the seem to get the job done and on the cheap as well. I can imagine what these would be like given a trigger smoothing the Cryo treatment. The one I would really like to have is the HW-5T Duo. This is the same model I have but also has an interchangeable .22 magnum cylinder.

I checked out the links to the new German revolvers and I like them. They are very nice looking guns. I'll have to find if they are imported here and who does so.

HERE IS MY NEW TOY!!!

SHE IS UGLY BUT SHE PUTS OUT!!!
HK91 by Federal Arms

I picked her up at a very decent price. I saw in my mind what she'll look like when I'm finished with her. The truth is these guns get a bad rap because of the aluminum receiver. I don't see it that way. I know that this gun is going to be vastly improved with cryo and the tender loving touches of care that I'm going to personally give it at the shop. I shot 100 rounds through it back to back.... hunting reloads, hunting bullets and NATO rounds.... full metal jacket, rounded semi jacketed soft points and pointed soft points. It ate them all and spat them out with no jams or problems. Trigger was far better than I thought it was going to be and the cocking lever and rod worked without a flaw and was very easy to use. I am going to molest this gun to the highest degree. Look for it in the "Project gun" section of the forums once I get it up and running soon. We're going to try and start a section for On Targets projects and a separate thread for those of you who are doing "at home" build-ups and projects.
I love this big, ugly .308 rifle..... I think I'm going to hang onto it a little while!

I just posted a video in the EXTRAS section of our website of the Black Beast going through it's paces. She shot flawless without one jam or even a hiccup. I can't wait to tear it apart. Check out the video!
