I acquired this firearm in a way that doesn't mean I really acquired it! Yeah..... I don't get it either, but let's just say "I have a project rifle to do up!"
A while back I stumbled across it in storage and was like "I totally forgot about this thing!"
To make a long story short, I got all happy because I had a new victim....ahem, I mean sample to work on.
So............ here's the before pics.
This little carbine has been ripped, stripped and dipped already.... well at least 90% of the way. I have a few coating strokes to spray and then put her all back together. It has many different products on it and we went in a different direction than was originally planned. I'm glad we went the route we did because it's looking killer. More pics (of the AFTER type) are coming soon.... stay tuned!
The Hi-Point Carbine looks so good. I love what you have done to this gun. Great pics, you can really see detail of all areas of the gun. What a differnce from the before and after pics. You can see the quality, time and effort that went into this gun. It truly is a masterpiece I'm sure that the owner was quite pleased. It must have been a hit at the gun show. Keep up the great job On Target!! Can't wait to check out the new guns at the gun shows.
Thanks Meredith! I appreciate the compliments. The Hi-Point did look rather crappy before we showed it some love.
By the way, I can't wait to get your AK-47 at the range and we all have some fun with it!!!
